Seminar Dr. Takayuki Nonoyama of Hokkaido University, Japan and Dr. Wasudeo Gurnule of Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, India visited the Material Chemistry Research Laboratory on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Dr. Nonoyama spoke about his work on hydrogels and Dr. Gurnule presented an introduction to nanomaterials at the seminar. They were honoured with bouquets at the end of the seminar by Dr. M. Muhibur Rahman and Dr. M. Yousuf Ali Mollah.

Seminar A seminar titled “Tuning Thermal Properties of Materials for Smart Application” was organised by the Material Chemistry Research Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka as a part of the International Seminar Camp 2017 on December 21-22, 2017. The program was inaugurated by Dr. M. Muhibur Rahman, UGC Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka. Invited lectures included Dr. Md. Abul Kalam, Professor at Texas A&M University – Texarkana, Dr. Chanchal Kumar Roy, Assistant Professor at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, and Noushaba Nusrat Mafy, PhD Researcher at Hokkaido University.
